trauma & creativity.
I have been interested in the intersection of trauma and creativity since 2008. It has taken on many forms over the years; researching student advocacy through the performing arts, understanding bystander intervention through performance, using dance theatre as an artistic vehicle for social change, and, most recently, trauma informed creative practices and pedagogy. You can read more about these on my writing & research page or this article on Inside Higher Ed. I offer workshops, webinars, and trainings on the intersection of trauma and creativity, yoga, and education. Please contact me directly if you are interested in discussing the topic further.
