Monthly Trauma Dump

Monthly Trauma Dump is part lecture series, part book club for folx who want to dive into trauma literature but don’t have the time, energy, or capacity to read it all. Each session begins with a lecture that distills key concepts and critiques from the selected trauma text, paired with somatic practices to help participants stay grounded and connected. The majority of each session will be dedicated to guided discussions around the book.

What to Expect in Each Session

• Facilitator Molly W. Schenck will provide an overview of the selected book — essentially the CliffsNotes version.

• The session will then open up for discussion, reflection, and shared exploration of the book’s topics.

• This is a research-focused, boundaried space — not a space for personal trauma disclosure or therapy.
